Can you do it from VBA?

I prefer to do it on the excel table.

e.g.
  1. Insert a table in the excel.
  2. Call the excel DNA function in the table(=GetCompanyData("XXX")).
  3. Use the return data fo fill the excel table.
But if it cannot do it on the excel table, may I know how to do it from VBA? Thanks.

To interact with the Excel table feature, then you'll need to learn how to manipulate the Excel COM object model, which is easier if you first figure it out from VBA.

Changing data on the sheet from a worksheet function is not normally allowed by Excel. There are some workarounds, but I would not suggest that as a starting point if you are not very familiar with Excel-DNA, the Excel C API and the COM automation object model. For a start I'd recommend you make a macro based on a ribbon button or something that inserts the data.
